If you have no previous experience, Flyer Striping
provides on-the-job training. Primarily you will initially learn to hold
measuring tapes, pop chalk lines, and "yell" back numbers to the crew
chief. Eventually you will learn to measure and layout parking lots, game courts
and traffic lines by observation and curiosity (you’ll ask a ton of questions)
as you help in some of those aspects. You’ll learn to paint the portrait that
our customer expects to see on his or her property.
This job can require irregular hours. We do some
work 24/7 during the main striping season. Off season (generally mid-December
through mid-March), you will work as needed or we will work around your schedule
if possible. However, we are developing our Snow Removal Service and as it
grows, so will additional hours of work. Overtime work earns overtime pay which
comes after 40 hours each week. |
